形态描述
体呈黑色，腹面浅黄；在两眼后方、背鳍基骨处、脂鳍起点及尾柄背面各具一明亮的黄色斑块。背鳍刺粗短，后缘光滑；胸鳍短小，胸鳍刺后缘具锯齿。胸部吸着器呈桃形。
生物学
Buffallo catfish, small in size, spine of the pectoral fin strong and serrate, inhabits the running water of the mountain streams in the Yuanjiang River.
